My scrap weekend was a success!! It's really the only time I can be completely focused on the task at hand; designing future kits! I am a social scrapper, although for the most part I do design alone because it's my business and well, I can't go on scrap weekend every weekend, right?! A scrap weekend once a month sounds like heaven! I love the company and having conversation. There is usually about 20 of us that attend these weekends. Some go to bed early and rise early and some stay up most of the night and sleep longer during the day. Me, I sleep very little!! I think my brain just knows that I'm on scrap weekend and so it just automatically goes on overload. I stay up all night with the late scrappers into the wee hours of the morning...usually about 5:30...and then sleep a couple hours and get back up with the early morning scrappers. The usual comment from everyone is...did you even go to sleep?! Sleep? Who needs sleep...it's scrap weekend! Oh, but trust me, there is lots of coffee happening here too! And lets not forget all yummy food and snacks! This past weekend I actually went with a new group of ladies. It was so nice to meet new creative friends and we all are looking forward to our next scrap weekend.
One of the albums I designed uses the new Little One collection from Crate Paper. I love this collection because it's not your average looking "baby" collection. I love the retro embellishments and gold glittered accents. I added more gold buttons and trim to really give this album some sparkle. It's sooooo adorable!! I didn't get the baby girl album quite finished so I will be sure to post picks when it's completed.
Thanks for stopping by!
