Carta Bella Rustic Elegance and October Afternoon...at look at the August 1st releases.

Hi Everyone!  It's the middle of the month and the kits are already finished and ready to ship out on August 1st.  I can't believe I'm actually ahead this month as I'm always playing catch up!  I guess this is what happens when you know you are leaving on vacation.  I'm one of those people that has to get everything done before leaving so that I can relax and not have to think about work while I'm gone. Please remember we will be closed from July 18th through July 31st.  There will be NO SHIPPING during this time.  Shipping will resume on Monday August 3rd.  I will be answering emails periodically while I'm away.  Every year I spend family time on the lake in Idaho, but this year is extra special because after six years without a vacation, my hubby finally gets to take time off from work and come with me. I'm so excited! Enough about me, want to see the releases!?...

Our first release is called Rustic Elegance.  I designed this for a wedding album, but it definitely doesn't have to be limited to brides and grooms.  Pull off some of the wedding embellishments and this would make a beautiful album for all types of photos.  I love the colors and flowers in this collection!  The blush, sage, wood, and grey colors are so trendy right now.  Adding in some gold touches here and there gives the album the perfect romantic touch.  This album really is so much more beautiful in person.

And here is the matching two page layout.  I left off all wedding themed embellishments so the page would have versatility for other photos.

Next we have a few extra layout kits this month.  They are both designed using collections from October Afternoon.  I can't get enough of their papers!  The prints are always adorable. 

This pirate themed layout would be perfect for pirate parties, pirate school themes, beach days, cruising, or maybe your little swashbuckler loves to play dress up. 

You can never have too many summer layouts, especially layouts that can match any summertime fun. 

And last....we are FINALLY RESTOCKING the Magic Moments Disney albums and layouts!

WE GOOFED!!!!

Or should I say, I GOOFED!!!!  For those of you who purchased our current Rover Mini Album, there is a piece of paper that was cut incorrectly.  It is the brown bone paper and the hole is on the wrong side.  Below is an example of how you can easily fix this problem. 

I will always stand behind the quality of my kits and should you be unsatisfied with your kit, please contact me at info@paisleysandpolkadots.com and I will send you out a new piece of paper with the hole in the correct place.  I sincerely apologize for the error and any inconvenience this may cause.     

This page can be found in bag #2.  On the current instructions all the paper pieces are placed on the left side of the page.  To cover the unwanted hole, place the paper pieces on the right side of the page as shown in the photo above .  Use a 3/16 inch hole punch or a Cropadile to punch another hole on the left side of the page.
