Wow, it has been quite some time since I have posted here as I always post on the Paisleys and Polka Dots blog. Here is another project I completed for Bella Blvd for CHA. I have to say from the projects I created for them, I love this one the most. I created this mini album for my daughter, Jamie, using the ever so versatile Sophisticates collection. I love the rainbow of colors and I actually used color combinations I usually wouldn't put together...turquoise, brown, and yellow? What was I thinking...but the combination with this paper is absolutely beautiful. And I used just about every color on the title page. The papers work so easily together, I love it!! I think this collection can be cute and fun, but also elegant and beautiful. Just depends on how you use the paper. I even created most of my embellishments from the paper using my cutting dies and paper punches. I added a little bling, stick pins, pearls, brads, and ribbon and for the finishing touch I hand embroidered stitching on each page. Yes, this book was a bit time consuming but well worth the effort and I enjoyed creating it.
